Allen Iverson or Kobe Bryant

I know Kobe isn't really ball hog right now. But back in the day who was more of a ball hog when I say back in the day I mean. 1998-2005

Question on : What player use to be more of a ball hog back in the day?
Yk Allen Iverson is a shooting guard, anyway I agree with Corey AI didn't have that great role players so he had to do most of the scoring, with Kobe he had Shaq. They both scored with the ball a lot, but since Kobe had more help he as more of a ball hog, but then he matured and isn't that much anymore. Happy Thanksgiving!

Question on : What player use to be more of a ball hog back in the day?
I don't know if I would call either a ball hog, but they both showed some selfish tendancies during their respective careers. The thing with Iverson is that he never really had the star power around him, so he had to score if they wanted to win. When he took the Sixers to the Finals, he was responsible for the vast majority of the scoring duties. The thing with Kobe is that he had one of the greatest and most dominant centers on his team, and he still wanted to be the main guy. He had Shaq in his prime, shooting close to 60% at times, and he still tried to be the main guy. His selfishness in the Finals against Detroit is the main reason they lost. It's a tough call, but I would say Kobe in the early part of their careers, and Iverson in the later portion.

Question on : What player use to be more of a ball hog back in the day?
Probably Allen Iverson because he never passed it much. He averaged like about 4 to 5 assists a game for a starting point guard. That's kind of bad, because he's an all star point guard and he only averages about 4 to 5 assists a game. CP3 is an all star PG and he averages like about 10 assists a game. Kobe averaged like about 3 to 5 assists a game back in the day. But he's a shooting guard, and shooting guards mostly shoots the ball, not pass the ball. Source(s): YK
